Bear Road where it intersects Canal Road will no longer continue straight to the Susquehanna Trail. Bear Road will temporarily connect to a new road named Regional Way which will intersect the Susquehanna Trail by the end of June 2024. Eventually Bear Road where it connects to Canal Road will be vacated and Regional Way will be the new main connection between Canal Road and the Susquehanna Trail. It is unknown at this time when Bear Road will be officially vacated and Regional Way intersecting Canal Road.
