Volunteer Services Tax Relief Ordinance
At the August 13, 2024 Board of Supervisor’s meeting, the Volunteer Services Tax Relief Ordinance passed unanimously for the tax year beginning January 1, 2024. Click here for the full ordinance and criteria. The notarized eligibility list shall be transmitted to the Township Manager no later than January 15 of the year following eligible service and the township will not accept any applications after April 1 of each year for the proceeding year. The Township is currently working on an application and will post it by the end of the year.

Wago Road Bridge Superstructure Replacement
PennDOT has contracted with Merlo to complete the superstructure replacement of Wago Road. Traffic will be maintained utilizing temporary signals throughout the majority of the project. There will be 4 weekend detours. These detours are scheduled to begin September 14th and continue continuous weekends until the first phase of demolition is complete. The length of this project is proposed to end approximately in October 2025. See attached letter and detour route.
