Snow and Ice Ordinance Section
All sidewalks shall be kept in an ice- and snow-free condition at all times. No notice will be given. Tickets can be issued. It is suggested to wait until after the snow plows come through to shovel your sidewalks because you do have 24 hours after the weather event ceases. If the snow plow pushes snow back onto your sidewalks, you are expected to clear them. Please do not shovel snow onto the streets to prevent this from happening. Sometimes it is inevitable and please remember that clearing the snow is a team effort between the Township, State, residents and businesses. Below is a helpful diagram on how to clear your driveway. Thank you.
Dates are November 24 – December 30 (closed December 24, 25, & 31). Tickets MUST be reserved in advance from Christmasmagicyork.com beginning on November 14th or call 717-840-7440. Pre-purchase your tickets for a specific arrival time. Walk-ins will not be permitted.
